Wendy Talavera

With more than 10 years of experience in early childhood education, the Mission Site Supervisor is dedicated to creating a structured yet flexible learning environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and develop at their own pace. In her role, she ensures that the classroom environment is conducive to learning and that the preschool’s curriculum is followed consistently. Her focus is on providing individual attention to each child while fostering a community of cooperation and respect among peers.

She believes that every child learns differently and tailors her approach to meet the specific needs of each student, helping them grow emotionally, socially, and academically. She also emphasizes the importance of teamwork and communication within the classroom and with families. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and taking part in local educational initiatives to support the community.
